R&B duo VanJess–comprised of sisters Ivana and Jessica Nwokike, unveil their brand new music video for the pulsating single “Through Enough” featuring Goldlink.
Complementing the song effortlessly, the visual is a cool and vibrant representation of independence, bringing to life elements of cool, dance-infused passion. The video gives a sense of freedom as we see VanJess grooving to the beat in their ’90s style outfits whilst boldly singing the lyrics of the chorus, “I need more than action babe / I’ve been through enough.”
VanJess described the single as “a song we wrote about dealing with so many bad relationships you’re scared to start something new and get your heart broken again, I think it’s a feeling a lot of people can relate to.”
After breaking out from their YouTube covers, and building a strong following in 2017, the soulful sisters are set to hit the UK as supporting acts for Little Simz’s “Welcome to Wonderland European Tour.” Coupled with their debut album–due this year, VanJess are surely set for an enormous 2018.
