New Music: dvsn – P.O.V.

By

POW! dvsn is back with another smoldering slow jam!

Following last month’s “Mood,” the Canadian duo return with a second Maxwell inspired track, titled “P.O.V.”

The hypnotic production is layered with a filtered down sample of Maxwell’s “Fortunate,” as Daniel Daley sings about changing his partner’s point of view. “I want to change your mind / I just want to change your mood,” he sings.

Maxwell gave the song his stamp of approval. “@dvsndvsn x @_MAXWELL_, {sort’ve},” he wrote, before adding the winking emoji.

Quoting the tweet, dvsn responded with prayer hands and a note of gratitude: “Thank you for your blessings on this one.”

The sensual bedroom burner is the latest taste of dvsn’s forthcoming sophomore album Morning After, which will feature 13 tracks, including “Think About Me,” and “Don’t Choose.”

Morning After is due out Oct. 13, it is expected to be accompanied by a short film shot in Cuba, which dvsn recently teased with a mysterious trailer.
