H.E.R. Releases New Song “2” & “Every Kind Of Way” Video

By

It’s a double dose of new H.E.R.

After quickly selling out her first headlining tour, “The Lights On Tour,” the soulful songstress has surprised fans with a brand new song, off her forthcoming project Vol. 2: The B-Sides.

Available now for pre-order and due out Oct. 20, the special project will include five new tracks, plus her beautiful duet “Best Part” with Daniel Caesar.

In the short new music video for “Every Kind of Way,” which follows her previous short film inspired by the song, H.E.R. finally steps in front of the camera, while sharing intimate moments with her boyfriend in bed and on a late-night date in Chinatown, NYC.

On “2” a staticy soundbed reverberates over Gabbi’s silky vocals as she coos to a ex that while he was stepping out behind her back, she had already moved on with another lover too.

“Thought I was up in my room crying myself to sleep / I was with a better you / While you were busy playing me / I was playing you too,” she sings.

Kicking off Nov. 5 in Washington, D.C., “The Lights On Tour” will make stops at various college campuses and venues in major cities including Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and more.
