Portland’s rising R&B artist TYuS is on a serious Jodeci vibe with his comeback single, “Lifted” featuring fellow Portland native Cassow.
The pair collaborated in the past on “Between Us,” which recently saw 21 Savage join TYuS on the official remix. Produced by Johnny Cool, the pair’s new union is a super seductive bedroom burner. TYuS has found his pocket here as he coos out to a new lover about taking their intimacy to an erotic peak.
“A little bit of drugs and a little bit of fun, is all you need / I got the remedies / We don’t need no ecstasy,” he sings. “So come and love a man like you’re supposed to / I want to hold you tight, wanna hold you.”
Cassow joins in midway with a smooth flow, spitting some provocative bars. “Get you to the crib, say you want to take from me / Ride with a ni**a, take a case for me / Pu**y hella good, know that it’s the place for me,” he raps.
