Keri Hilson fans will have to continue waiting a little longer for her previously expected comeback.  After a press release came out on Monday (March 14), the singer/songwriter has denounced the accuracy of the release date for her new single.

Following the press releases claim that the single, “Again,” would drop on Friday (March 18), with an album titled L.I.A.R. (an acronym for Love Is a Religion) coming later this year, the “Pretty Girl Rock” singer set the record straight on Twitter.

“THEY issued a fake press release,” she wrote, referencing DJ Khaled’s oft-used “They,” a cryptic term used to describe non-believers. “THEY have good info tho: Again IS jammin/LIAR IS the album but it’s just not ready. Soon! #nevertrustTHEY.”

The “fake” press release came from an email associated with Polow Da Don’s Zone 4 Ent., while a source from Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group, where Hilson is also signed, confirmed the news to Billboard.

It’s been a little over five years since Keri Hilson delivered her second studio effort, 2010’s No Boys Allowed. Let’s hope she doesn’t have us waiting too much longer.

Something about Zone 4 feels dodgy… or someone hacked or there was a leak on the inside hmmm…..
I feel like Keri’s record label is holding her back from releasing music. I think she even tweeted that herself last year
