On Saturday night, Taylor Swift showed some love to R&B royalty when she brought out Mary J. Blige, at the second of five sold-out shows of her “1989 World Tour” at L.A.’s Staples Center.
The two held hands and dueted on “Doubt” off Mary’s latest album The London Sessions before Blige performed her 2001 hit “Family Affair” as Swift joined in.
“Don’t you think that this amazing woman should take a bow for you tonight?” said Swift to cheers from the crowd. Following her performance Mary tweeted: “That was such an amazing experience performing w/ @taylorswift13 at the @STAPLESCenter! Congrats on your historic 1989 Tour!”
