Well look what the New Year has brought! After a very lengthy battle, JoJo has finally been released from her contract with Blackground Records!
The Los Angeles Times reports that the 23-year-old has also signed a new deal with Atlantic Records, where she is expected to release her much-anticipated third studio album.
The singers diehard fans campaigned heavy for her freedom from Blackground on social media, and last July, JoJo filed a lawsuit demanding to be released from the label and its imprint, Da Family Records.
In late 2012, JoJo released her popular mixtape Agápē.
