Sit back, relax, and get on Eric Bellinger‘s frequency.

In the midst of his North American “Eazy Call Tour,” and less than two month’s since the release of his new album Eazy Call, the R&B hit-maker blesses fans with a surprise project. Released in honor of national Meditation Day (May 31), the Compton native liberates new vibrations with the 5-track Meditation Music EP.

Aside from the previously released “Frequency” feat. Blaq Tuxedo, the project includes 4 brand new tracks inspired by the act of expelling energies though various physical activities and relaxation.

“May 31st is #NationalMeditationDay and I really wanted to bring awareness to the lifestyle as a whole,” says Bellinger. “I truly believe that yoga and meditation have changed my life for the better. It was a secret I felt I needed to share. Music is my platform, I always wanna do everything in my power to make the world a better place by way of my gift.”

On standout track “Chakras,” Eric flows over a trippy beat about finding enlightenment in a spiritual woman. “She on a different vibration I can’t get enough,” he sings. “Floating, her chakras got me floating.”

All the hits from the Eazy Call album and his vast catalog are getting crowds turned up every night on his tour, but Eric Bellinger believes the calming sounds he takes in after the shows are elevating his consciousness–and helping him make music at a deeper level. “I listen to smooth meditation sounds, nature sounds, flutes and waves everyday,” he reveals. “They allow me to tap into a different realm, mentally. Breaking through the surface to new levels of clarity and creativity. I often find myself coming up with melodies and harmonizing to the different sounds.”

The result, Meditation Music, is enlightened but sensual and sexy. Tickets and Meet & Greets for the “Eazy Call Tour” are available now exclusively on www.ericbellinger.com/tour.
