Legendary R&B artist Keith Sweat took the stage this week for the grand opening of his limited engagement, “Keith Sweat: Last Forever,” in the Donny & Marie Showroom at Flamingo Las Vegas.
“It was a nonstop music assault of the soul and senses,” described entertainment reporter Robin Leach. “His band was at full blast, and his singers and dancers were as high-electric energy as he was. You couldn’t ask for better entertainment and a mesmerizing performance to start the New Year. There was as much fun for me listening to his music as it was watching the ladies fall under his extraordinary spell”.
Audiences were on their feet all night long as the platinum-selling R&B singer performed his greatest hits including “Keep It Comin’,” “Twisted,” “I’ll Give All My Love To You” and more. The intimate showroom allowed Keith to interact with the audience throughout the show and several lucky guests got to hear him up close and personal.
Opening night was full of surprises when two special guests made an appearance on stage to perform with Keith. Keith’s close friend and The O’Jays singer, Eddie Levert, joined him for “My Body,” and Eric. B (of Eric B. and Rakim) hit the stage for the classic “I Want Her.”
