Abel, Abel, Abel! Get your coins!
While it may have taken the masses quite some time to get on the train that is known as The Weeknd, now that his time has arrived, the Canadian crooner is making the most of it.
Premiering his commercial with Apple Music during Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards, the singer is letting the endorsements roll on in. Set in two parts, the ad shows The Weeknd’s journey after he walks off of the stage from his fiery performance and greets all of the backstage patrons including Travi$ Scott. Seemingly out of it, the singer wanders out of the venue to the back exit where he enters into a limo driven by none other than actor John Travolta.
Heading to the after-party, Abel navigates his way through the party and adjusts the setting of the evening by changing the tracks on his Apple Music playlists. From Fetty Wap to Future, The Weeknd eventually eliminates all the noise and is sen sitting in what is assumed to be his house.
“It’s all in your head. Crate your own party,” the screen reads.
