BET has added another component to their Music Matters division to highlight emerging new artists by teaming up with multi-platinum producer Jerry Wonda and creating The Wonda Sessions. The new in-studio performance series will feature exclusive, intimate sessions from some of today’s buzzing young singers, filmed and recorded in NYC at Wonda’s Platinum Sound Studios, and will air as interstitials on BET Networks.
Jerry Wonda, the Haitian-born musical composer and record producer, has worked with artists such as The Fugees, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Justin Bieber, Miguel, and many more. Announcing the new series today, the premiere Wonda Session showcases Music Matters artist Adrian Marcel performing his song “My Life,” and the interstitials will be shown this week during “Being Mary Jane” and BET Star Cinemas “Why Did I Get Married.”
Check out Adrian’s performance below, and look out for future sessions featuring Antonique Smith, Bridgette Kelly, and Ro James.
