MoKenStef was a R&B trio from Los Angeles, California. The group’s name was a combination of the first syllable of each member’s name. “He’s Mine” was their biggest hit from their 1995 album Azz Izz. The single peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, and lead the trio to perform it on Soul Train, All That, and Video Soul.
One thing’s for sure is these ladies possessed a unique soulfulness and some pretty solid range. Enjoy the throwback.
