Sam Smith‘s incredible year was fully acknowledged at the American Music Awards on Sunday night. Fresh off his win for Favorite Male Pop/Rock Artist, the British crooner hit the stage to sing his latest hit single “I’m Not the Only One.” As a welcomed surprise Smith was joined by the fashion killa himself, A$AP Rocky, who rocked an oversized scarf over his bespoke suit.
“Genuinely from my heart, I didn’t think I would be winning this,” said a humble Smith, who beat out Pharrell and John Legend. “Last year, I wrote an album about being lonely and tonight, I couldn’t feel further from lonely, so thank you so much.”
