Basketball season is officially back. On Thursday night, Usher helped celebrate LeBron James’ homecoming to Cleveland, Ohio kicking off the Cavs home opener with a performance of the National Anthem. The R&B superstar, who is a part owner of the Cavaliers, took the court at Quicken Loans Arena to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” before his team lost to the Knicks.

Usher belted out a soaring rendition of the patriotic tune while the players watched from the sidelines. Towards the end, the entire arena started singing along, making for an emotional moment.
