Mary J. Blige has been in the game for over 20 years and has seen the ups and down of the industry. Through all of her struggles though, one thing remains the same: the fact that she’s still on top.

Sitting down with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club to discuss the release of her upcoming album The London Sessions early Monday morning, the Queen – who prefers that over being called ‘The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul” – made the crew feel as if they hit the big time.

Taking time to discuss her now legendary collaboration with Jay Z on his debut album, her past troubles and how it effected her music, who’s she’s listening to now, and the infamous Burger King commercial, it’s good to see Mary still catering to her fans.

She also premiered the brand new singles “Whole Damn Year” and “Therapy,” which are the first official U.S. releases off The London Sessions, due out December 2.
