K. Michelle is gearing up for the premiere of “The Rebellious Soul Musical” which airs Aug. 19 on VH1.
The hip-hopera like production was directed by Idris Elba and features a storyline set to 8 songs off the singers debut album Rebellious Soul. It has been described as a “dramatic tale about struggle, heartbreak and deceit,” covering the topics of rape, infidelity, dishonesty, and more.
