The moment everyone was waiting for was well worth the wait and Beyoncé turned the VMAs into the BeyMAs. The “greatest living entertainer” according to Jay Z, delivered a monumental music moment performing a medley of her entire visual album at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards.
“MTV, welcome to my world,” she said before launching into all 14 tracks off her self-titled LP as her daughter Blue Ivy looked on from Jay Z’s lap.
She ended the performance with “XO,” dedicating it to her loyal fans.
Jay Z came onstage with Blue to present the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award to her as tears of joy ran down her cheeks.
“Blue Blue, I love you. My beloved, I love you. My fans, I love you,” she said before exiting stage left.
