After turning up the clubs with his single “I Don’t Want Her,” Eric Bellinger is getting fans under the sheets with his sexy new single “Kiss Goodnight” featuring Kid Ink. The L.A. native has released the official music video for the Blackstreet sampled song, which was directed by Mike Ho (Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa).
Taking a sleek and cinematic approach with the black-and-white visual, the R&B singer/songwriter keeps it simple but sexy in the monochromatic clip.
“I try to stay away from what everyone else is doing,” the Grammy Award-winning artist told Vibe about the video, which features model Bijon H. “The ladies were regal and the black & white really took it there [and] made it a classic piece.
As for Ink, Bellinger new from jump that he’d be the perfect rapper to complement the sultry record. “I knew Kid Ink’s flow would fit perfect since my verse were more on the rap singy vibe,” he said. “I knew this song would be a fan fave just because of the sample and the way we flipped it and made it so current.”
“Kiss Goodnight,” which samples Blackstreet’s classic hit “Before I Let You Go,” is featured on Bellinger’s debut album The ReBirth, available on iTunes now.
