Jill Scott to Join Usher as Guest Mentor on NBC’s ‘The Voice’

Believe it or not but NBC’s ‘The Voice‘ is already set to return to our televisions on February 24.

As previously reported, Usher and will returning again as a coach for the 6th Season, and he is bringing along one of R&B’s best to be his guest mentor this time!

“Extra” has exclusively revealed that Jill Scott will be joining Team Usher!

“That’s my secret weapon, incredible, as a writer, as a musician, as an actress, all those elements really help to prepare artists,” Usher told “Extra’s” Renee Bargh.

Jill says that Usher didn’t need to convince her to join him on the show. “When Usher calls, you take the call.” She’s ready to help him win ‘The Voice‘ Season 6. Her best advice for contestants is, “Listen to your gut, follow your heart and it will lead you somewhere special.”
