Beyonce Album Release Party

With her album No. 1 and breaking records worldwide, the Queen had to finally celebrate, so she let loose at a private party at Dave & Buster’s in New York City following her concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Thursday night.

While Mr. Carter was overseas for a gig of his own, Mrs. Carter was joined by some of her closest friends and collaborators including model Jessica White, stylist Ty Hunter, designer Alexander Wang, Luke James, J. Cole, and Drake.

At one point, the Toronto MC got on the turntables and addressed the crowd. “I just came out tonight to let you know congratulations to each and every one of you that worked on this shit, for real,” said Drizzy, who collaborated with Bey on “Mine.” “And of course to the queen, the utmost congratulations.”

Guests had a ball as they played arcade games (including Bey’s favorite Connect 4), sipped drinks from their very own Beyoncé cups, and snacked on Beyoncé cupcakes. They even gave out light-up bows like the ones seen in the “XO” video. As “Drunk in Love” blared from the speakers, Bey danced along.
