Jamie Foxx continues his takeover of Hollywood and diverse portfolio of characters. Following his acclaimed yet controversial role as Django in ‘Django Unchained‘ last year, and playing the President of the United States in the summer blockbuster ‘White House Down,’ the multi-talented artist is now flexing his chops as a superhero villain.
Jamie Foxx will star as the evil character of ‘Electro,’ a villain who gained the ability to control electricity after being struck by lightning while working on a power line, in the sequel to 2012’s ‘The Amazing Spider Man.’ Even though the movie is still a year away, the studio is already buzzing, offering the first look at Foxx’s character.
“I can feel it in the walls. I feel it in my veins. No matter what you do doc, you can’t contain it. You want to know how powerful I am? Well I want to know too. I’m Electro,” Electro (Foxx) announces in the teaser below:
