James B. Walker aka Jimi Nxir (pronounced Noir) is a 21-year-old singer/producer/music experimentalist and newly inducted member of the 2013 Red Bull Music Academy. Hailing from different cities across the nation including Dallas, Cleveland and D.C., he is a new resident of NYC.
Fresh off of his Redbull Music Academy debut, Nxir has released his first single titled, “Sensation,” produced by Melo-X. The trippy track is off of his forthcoming debut EP entitled ‘GXLD’ which is due out this fall. The two artist collaborated in Melo-X’s Brooklyn studio in East Flatbush on sultry electronic mix personifying both of their distinct musical styles.
