Kelly Rowland and The-Dream had NYC turned on Thursday night for the latest stop on their co-headlining “Lights Out” Tour. The two R&B stars have come together in promotion of their recent collaborations and new albums. The U.S. trek had to be cut short due to Kelly’s new duties as a judge on the upcoming season of ‘The X Factor’, but last nights show went off without a hitch.

Fans swarmed into the Best Buy Theater in Times Square for the sold-out concert. The sexy evening was kicked off by Def Jam newcomer August Alsina, who took the stage performing some of his fan favorite covers and buzzing debut single, “I Luv This Ish.”

Shortly after, The-Dream erupted the building as he made his entrance to new song “Holy Love,” off his brand new album IV Play (in stores now). The platinum hitmaker kicked up the pace segueing into the bouncy “Dope Bitch” and treated the audience to hit after hit, including “I Love Your Girl,” “Fast Car,” “Nikki,” “Falsetto” and more. A highlight was his performance of new song “Too Early,” which is a different sound for the platinum hitmaker and features Gary Clark Jr. on the recorded version. Dream closed his set with a crowd rockin rendition of “Rockin That Thang.”

Following a brief intermission the lights dimmed once again and the crowd erupted as the curtains opened revealing the beautiful Kelly Rowland. The R&B chanteuse caused hysteria and phone cameras everywhere as she opened her set with the seductive single, “ICE.” Ms. Rowland also ran through a catalog of hits and fan favorites including “Neva End,” “Dilemma,” “Representin,” “Bad Habit” and more. But, she had many surprises in store as the 32-year-old introduced her screaming fans to new songs off her upcoming LP, including the title track “Talk A Good Game,” “Street Life,” “Gone” and “This Is Love.”

Her performance was highlighted by a special duet between herself and The-Dream of their sensual new collabo, “Where Have You Been,” followed by her gossip causing, emotional single “Dirty Laundry.” Kelly then brought the energy all the way back to 100 with a Destiny’s Child medley and closed out the night with her sexy singles “Kisses Down Low,” “Motivation” and “Like This.”
