New Music: Jade – “Freedom”

By

Jade Freedom x500

Born and raised right outside of New Orleans, Jade was influenced by the cultural melting pot of jazzy and innovative sounds from the Bayou. Soon after competing in local Talent shows, she took the leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles. Soon Jade was in a girl group and signed to Clive Davis/Underdog Entertainment. The group was then signed to Atlantic Records in a joint venture with T- Pain. This experience afforded Jade the opportunity to write and record records with other talented artist and producers and perform on stages all around the world; ultimately molding Jade into the artist that she is now.

She then moved on to sing and dance with Solange Knowles on her tour, “Solange and the Hadley Street Dreams”. After touring with Solange for two and a half years, and returning to Los Angeles , Jade decided it was time to challenge herself even more, and move to NY. While working on her own solo material for a couple years now, Jade has truly found her own voice. Today, she releases the single “Freedom,” which was produced by Page Brothers, and penned by James Fauntleroy (Cocaine 80s), off her upcoming EP project, ‘JADED.’ If you love Solange’s music we suggest you take a listen below…
