Following yesterday’s story from MTV, and Ryan Seascrest interview with Chris Brown, on his recent personal life situations, upcoming single “Fine China,” and forthcoming fifth album, X, more stories have surfaced today. Mostly featuring similar information about his new-found, mature stance on living his life in the spotlight, and detailed descriptions of songs off the upcoming album, but he has additionally revealed that while Kendrick Lamar is currently the albums only feature, he has considered others, one of which might be his on-again-off-again girlfriend Rihanna. And, it might be a R&B song…

“When we did ‘Nobody’s Business’ [their 2012 single] we actually did another song for my album called ‘Put It Up,'” he said. “I wanted to do an R&B record with Rihanna. I didn’t want to do the pop stuff, I wanted to do something that people aren’t used to hearing.” He further explained, “It’s still in the pot of songs we have to pick from, it may or may not make it, but you know, because she’s already on it, it’s a strong possibility.”

Chris shared more details about what we can expect to hear from him on the new music, “Whether it’s personal or life experiences – my girl, my exes, love in general, or just reality – I’m putting all that into this album,” he said. “That’s the basis of what X is, and who Chris Brown is. The stuff I wanted to talk about, I found clever ways to add myself into the metaphors.”

“I’m just all about positivity and moving forward, being able to X out the negativity and stay on a focused path. Now, instead of me being the temperamental guy that everyone thinks I am, I’m more about crafting that into my music, so when my fans hear it, they can feel it.”
