K. Michelle Talks Relationship with J.R. Smith, New Album on ‘The Breakfast Club’

K. Michelle paid a visit to Power105.1′s ‘The Breakfast Club’ for a new interview on Tuesday morning. The R&B songstress spoke about her upcoming album Rebellious Soul, which she revealed contains a lot of songs about her relationship with New York Knicks player JR Smith, “The whole album is about dat boy, when dude’s use us for coochie, I use men for songs.” She went on to share details about their relationship, how he left her at a club in NY because she was nagging him and how she messed up his player ways. K claims because of him and others she has 3 albums worth of heartbreak material.

The Memphis native shared news on the upcoming season of ‘Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta,’ saying they are 3 episodes in and she has already cussed everybody out. She talked about moving to New York, being labeled as a “country ratchet” chick, her thoughts on Keyshia Cole’s comment about Michelle Williams, whether she likes ‘Love & Hip-Hop New York’ or not, producing a reality show behind the scenes and more.

Her album is currently scheduled for an August release with the first single coming as soon as March. Peep the full interview below…
