Dawn Richard is gearing up for the release of her upcoming GoldenHeart album, revealing a teaser for the “86” video. The former Dirty Money singer reflects on the past in the short film, directed by Eugene Lee Yang.
“‘86’ is an homage to my past,” explains Dawn. “Everyone wants to look at the Danity Kane thing as a negative but it’s a positive. The girls have been and continue to be a guiding force in my journey throughout this music business.”
The video will debut on January 15, when GoldenHeart hits stores.
