Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Anesha is already an acclaimed and accomplished singer-songwriter. Honing her talents as just a young girl in church, Anesha became familiar with performing for crowds of over 1000. At the age of 18, Anesha and her sister Antea Shelton (now writing partner) began working together as a writing duo better known as, APLUS. They received their big break after meeting and auditioning for Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins. Long story short, since that first meeting they have written hits for Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber and more. The time has now come for Anesha to step back into the spotlight, as she releases her debut project — “Running, The Mixtape.”
