VH1 is returning with a new season of their live performance series “Storytellers,” and the first artist to grace the stage will be Jill Scott. The Philly songstress is expected to perform cuts off her latest album The Light of The Sun, and as a sneak peek they have released this preview of Jill performing her current single “Blessed.”

Monica and Brandy continued their TV promo this morning stopping by VH1′s ‘Big Morning Buzz.’ The ladies continued to speak about “The Boy Is Mine,” the new duet “It All Belongs To Me,” their forthcoming albums. Brandy officially announces her album title and inspiration. In the second clip they play a game of which item belongs to who, where Brandy admits her love for the reality TV show ‘Love & Hip-Hop’ and Monica shares more details about her sons.

VH1 will pay tribute to late Soul Train creator and founder Don Cornelius, who died Wednesday morning at the age of 75. According to the network, Soul Train: The Hippest Trip in America, will air Friday, February 3 at 10pm.
VH1 may be known for reality television, but the network just announced plans to develop a scripted film that should make you excited. The film, the first in a series of music bio-pics, will be based on the evolution of influential female musicians TLC. It will be penned by screenwriter Kate Lanier.
Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Chilli have both signed on to consult and produce the film. “I always felt our story had to be told,” Chilli says in the press release for the film, below. And it’s quite a story. Read on for more details about the project.
