Watch: Vanessa White Performs Intense Stripped Back Version of “Good Good”

Geez, Vanessa White got that ‘Good Good.’

Last month, as a Valentine’s Day treat, the British songstress released the studio version of her sultry new single to wide acclaim, and now she takes viewers into an intimate studio where in a dark recording booth she performs a stripped down rendition.

As if the original wasn’t already, the new version is primed for sweat drenched bedroom activity. White showcases her vocals like never before with a hypnotic airy falsetto singing out to an irresistible bad boy.

“You know you got that good, good / You know you got that good, good / And they say that your toxic / That’s just why I want it / Every time you touch me, I can’t breathe,” she sings.

Speaking about the track previously, Vanessa said: “It’s a song about being honest with your sexuality and going for what you want without holding back and not having to listen to other people’s opinions. I’m not afraid to be sexual. I think that’s the Scorpio in me. With relationships, people always have something to say, but I always prefer to find out for myself rather than listening to others, and the song touches on that.”

New Music: Vanessa White – Good Good

Hot on the heels of her captivating debut solo EP Chapter One, and the release of her last track “Low Key,” London based singer/songwriter Vanessa White returns with the sexy new track “Good Good.”

Produced by rising London producer Mkulu and written by Vanessa, the sensuous slow jam showcases her sublime vocals with soulful melodies delivered through her own unique brand of future R&B vibes.

Speaking about the new track, Vanessa White told The FADER: “It’s a song about being honest with your sexuality and going for what you want without holding back and not having to listen to other people’s opinions. I’m not afraid to be sexual. I think that’s the Scorpio in me. With relationships, people always have something to say, but I always prefer to find out for myself rather than listening to others, and the song touches on that.”

Continuing, “In the past I’ve been worried about showing this side of me in my music and have even been scared to be this free in the studio, but I’ve learned the less you care and the more open you are, the more real and relatable the end product is.”

New Music: Vanessa White feat. Kojey Radical – Exchange (Bryson Tiller Refix)

Vanessa White 78366_o

British songstress Vanessa White is hot on the heels of her solo EP release, Chapter One, but she is continuing to bless us with new music.  Taking a break from the originals, The Saturdays member delivers a unique, but dope remix to Bryson Tiller’s hit single “Exchange.”

With hypnotic new production by Subside, and a rap verse from Kojey Radical, the refix blends in lyrics from the ’90s classic “Swing My Way” by K.P. & Envyi, creating a old school meets new school banger.

“I’m a huge Bryson Tiller fan and was lucky enough to be at his one-off show in London a couple months ago,” Vanessa told i-D. “Exchange is my favorite track on the TRAPSOUL record and I wanted to approach it from a female perspective – then Kojey brought in a whole other dimension to the remix with his verse, which I love! Adding that old school R&B vibe with Swing My Way was loads of fun as it’s still such a tune.”

Video: Vanessa White feat. Wrench 32 – Lipstick Kisses

Vanessa-White-Lipstick-Kisses

Continuing to impress with each new release, Vanessa White debuts a video for the Wretch 32-assisted single, “Lipstick Kisses,” off her debut solo EP Chapter One.

The Saturdays member spins a dark, sinister tale in the Rob Heppell directed visuals, despite the song’s smooth, laid back vibes.

White awakens in a hotel room and begins cleaning up a gruesome crime scene in the bathroom. She then leaves multiple Fed-Ex boxes to be mailed off. We don’t know what’s inside or what went down in the bathroom, but she nonchalantly leaves the premises, and no one is the wiser.

Vanessa’s debut EP Chapter One is available on iTunes now. Check out her new video below.
