Steve Harvey Helps Trey Songz Find Love

On Thursday (Apr. 27), Trey Songz made a guest appearance on ‘The Steve Harvey Show,’ where he had a candid convo with Harvey about being seen as a sex symbol, and what kind of influence his mom has had on his career.

Trey is still single and told Steve that he’s been thinking more and more about settling down and maybe even starting a family. So, as a special portion of the show, Harvey was ready to make this a reality and he found three women that he believes would be good matches for the R&B heartthrob.

The ladies knew they were there for a dating segment, but they had no idea who the man is that they might be set up with. See who Trey chose below.

New Video: 2 Chainz feat. Trey Songz, Ty Dolla $ign, & Jhené Aiko – It’s A Vibe

The vibes are super strong in the swaggy new video for 2 Chainz recent star-studded collaboration, “It’s A Vibe” featuring Trey Songz, Ty Dolla $ign & Jhené Aiko.

The Atlanta rap star kicks off the visual in a sexy lounge club where he enjoys the company of some beautiful woman and a live band. The next vibe brings forth Ty Dolla, who sings his portion in a strip club kind of setting. Meanwhile, Trigga plays an alluring passenger in a drop top convertible, kicking game to a model.

“Okay, so I’ve got the ambiance just where I want it,” raps 2 Chainz. In a candle-lit room, he raps for a couple of lingerie-clad models. Then, wearing a mask, he transitions into a darker vibe, where chains fill up a dark room with curvaceous women dressed in black.

Jhené’s vibe is also quite dark, as she plays the role of this mysterious location’s boss. Counting money while getting her feet massaged, she sings about busting it wide.

“It’s a Vibe” is a single off 2 Chainz’ forthcoming album, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. Initially set for release this month, the album has been pushed back to an undetermined date.

Listen: Trey Songz Releases Self-Titled New Album ‘Tremaine’

Welcome to the world of Tremaine!

R&B heartthrob Trey Songz is back to give fans a deep, personal look into his current life and feelings with his self-titled new album.

The singer/songwriter’s seventh studio LP on Atlantic Records features 15 tracks, which Songz has been teasing through his online adaptation of a “reality” dating show, Tremaine The Playboy, over the last several weeks. Since debuting the series in February, Trey has released 5 tracks off the album including, “Nobody Else But You,” “Playboy,” “Song Goes Off,” “She Lovin It,” and “Animal.”

Tremaine The Album is a direct reflection of his honest desires and feelings to embrace his mature self by settling down with the right woman and starting a family, while dealing with his superstar lifestyle that continues to make that a difficult dream to reach.

During an interview with “The Breakfast Club” last month, Trey spoke about his concept of creating the mock dating show and using it as a platform to release visuals for songs off the album. “The way people consume music, the way people love reality TV, the way people love drama, just the illusion that it could be something I was doing was a great way for me introduce music,” he said.

Tremaine is the follow-up chapter to 2014’s Trigga and 2015’s Trigga Reloaded. According to Songz, the hiatus was due to some somber moments. “You get in a dark place and places where you don’t know what’s going on,” he said. “That’s why I haven’t been doing music the last two years. That’s why I haven’t put an album out.”

Thankfully, he made it through those times with new experiences and perspectives on his life and career, which he is now ready to share with the world. In support of the new album, Trey will launch “Tremaine The Tour” on May 3 in Detroit, Mich. and perform intimate shows for a month in major cities including Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Atlanta, and more before culminating in Los Angeles at The Novo on June 3.

Drake Gets A Visit from Sade at London Show

Drake ain’t playin’ fair y’all!

Surrounding the success of his new album More Life, the Canadian star was graced by the presence of music royal on Monday night (March 20) backstage at his “Boy Meets World Tour” at London’s O2 arena.

Sharing the special moment with fans via Instagram, Drizzy posted a photo hugging his mother in one arm and the legendary Sade in the other!

“Two very important ladies in my life,” he captioned the post.

The two have actually maintained a friendly relationship since 2011, when Drake’s longtime producer Noah “40” Shebib was asked to work on a remix to “The Moon and the Sky,” however instead of a still young Drake, the British singer/songwriter put Jay Z on the official remix.

“[40] got an amazing opportunity early on in my career to work with Sade on a remix to one of her songs,” Drake said in a random interview with University of Kentucky basketball head coach, John “Coach Cal” Calipari, earlier this year. “I was this close to being on it, but at that point in my career, she went and put Jay Z on it, which is obviously understandable…But I missed that. A Sade moment. My star wasn’t there yet for her to hear me out. Since then, we’ve had a great relationship.”

In addition to the special meeting with Sade, the rap star gave London fans a very special show, where he brought out Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj, Skepta, and rising R&B songstress Jorja Smith.
