New Music: BJ The Chicago Kid feat. Tiara Thomas – I Be High

BJ The Chicago Kid and Tiara Thomas connect today in celebration of every smoker’s favorite holiday, 4/20! The smooth, laid-back track titled, “I Be High,” finds both vocalists discussing the joys of smoking and making love.

“You know I roll up the best / Shout out to my connect / You know I smoke one / You feel that sh*t in your chest / Inhale n***a exhale n***a,” sings BJ.

“I Be High” follows a series of recent releases from BJ including his tribute to Usher’s Confessions, and his ode to cuffing season, The Lost Files: Cuffing Season. The singer/songwriter most recently performed during Coachella weekend and is putting the finishing touches on the anticipated follow-up to his Grammy nominated debut album, In My Mind.

Meanwhile, Tiara just dropped her surprise acoustic EP Don’t Mention My Name last month.

Listen: Tiara Thomas Releases New Acoustic EP ‘Don’t Mention My Name’

Tiara Thomas is going back to the basics, with a brand new stripped down, acoustic project entitled, ‘Don’t Mention My Name.’

At first the title would seem off putting, but the essence of the content revolves around the title track, where she sings out to an ex with a warning of leaving their relationship out of his mouth.

“I don’t want stress / I don’t want press / I don’t like mess, unless it’s about my sex / You don’t get none, but you can get flex / If somebody ask you about your ex, don’t mention my name,” she sings.

The 5-track EP covers the good and bad of previous romances, as Tiara keeps her guitar strings humming on “I’m Still At The Bar,” where she sings about hooking up with a side piece.

Thomas also pays homage to ’90s R&B with an acoustic remake of Case’s 1996 hit “Touch Me, Tease Me.” Telling her fans about it on Instagram she wrote, “for the true r&b heads I flipped one of my favorite 90’s jams, loved playing these chords.”

New Music: Tiara Thomas – OTW

If you’ve been wondering, Tiara Thomas is OTW.

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard anything new from our favorite “Bad” girl, but she just dropped some heat for her fans.

“OTW” is a slow jam, produced by Swagg R’Celious, laced with the laid back feeling you love about Tiara’s music. It finds her tired of playing games and just wanting to deal with one guy. She convinces her potential bae to come over and what happens after he hits her with the “I’m on the way” text is fair game. TT gets a little raunchy with the lyrics, but she sings it so delicately, you barely even notice on your first listen.

“Let me know, when you on the road / You know how it goes, can’t f**k me though / But my p**sy stay, to just below my waist /Now kiss me so I can taste / Now kiss me so you don’t waste / So good I can fall in love, but you might fall quicker,” she sings.
