SWV have been back in the spotlight with their entertaining reality show ‘SWV Reunited‘ on the WE TV network. While, the ladies are working out their label and recording situation for the follow-up album to 2012′s Grammy-nominated I Missed Us, lead singer Coko is still recording and releasing new gospel music on her own as well.

She has just released the new single “At Your Feet,” for which part of the recording session was on the season finale of SWV Reunited. As expected the song is a powerful testimony and soul stirring ballad.

SWV Talks Depression, Plastic Surgery, and Hitting Rock Bottom on ‘Bethenny’


90′s supergroup, SWV, has been making headlines lately with their reunion. Enjoying what has been a well-overdue return to the limelight, the original members, Coco, Taj, and LeLee, have kept fans updated on what’s been going on with their lives in their WEtv series, SWV: Reunited.

While their return to our television screens has been quite enjoyable, it wasn’t all that great for the girls during their hiatus from the industry.  Stopping by morning talk show Bethenny, the trio sat down and opened up about their time during disbandment. Citing depression, money woes, and behind the scene drama as issues that they faced, it’s good to see the women together and looking good.

Last week’s premiere of SWV‘s brand new reality ‘SWV Reunited‘ had a lot of people talking, and ended with a big edge of your seat moment. R&B Stars Attend ESSENCE Black Women In Music Event

Last night, ESSENCE held their 5th annual Black Women In Music celebration at 1 OAK nightclub in Los Angeles. Lincoln Motor Company was the presenting sponsor for the event that honored emerging artist Emile Sandé.

The swanky event brought out many of R&B’s brightest including Bridget Kelly, Tank, Sevyn Streeter, Chrisette Michele, SWV, Ledisi, Michelle Williams, Stacey Barthe and many more.

Later that night, Tank and Sevyn performed a duet together at the ‘For The Love of R&B’ party at The Sayers Club.

SWV Visit ‘The Breakfast Club’ for Interview


With their brand new reality show ‘SWV: Reunited‘ airing weekly on WE TV, the Sisters With Voices (minus Taj) stopped by Power 105.1 for an interview with The Breakfast Club on Wednesday.

The ladies opened up their chat talking about Lelee dating Charlamagne, and she spoke about getting a Brazilian butt lift. They touched on their breakup, having a similar shady record deal as TLC, and their personal lives following their split.

They also spoke about getting back together, what their new music will sound like, and more.

Watch: SWV Premiere New Reality Show ‘SWV Reunited’


Thursday night saw the anticipated premiere of SWV‘s new reality show ‘SWV Reunited‘ on the WE tv network.  The legendary trio have had an incredibly rocky career, but all the trouble surrounding their break-up in 1998 was washed away when they reunited in 2005 and began performing and recording again, finally releasing their Grammy-nominated album I Missed Us in the spring 2012.

The new reality show, which after seeing the premiere episode is a must-watch; brings the Sisters With Voices back into the spotlight, highlighting their return to a busy music career, while managing their family life at home, and of course showing off those voices!

SWV Previews Trailer for Upcoming Reality Show


With more than 10 years passing since their disbandment, the ladies of SWV will be entering 2014 with a big bang! For as many of our favorite groups from the ’90′s who have seen their own reality shows or have been featured as cast members on certain ones, these women have chosen to do the same.

Coko, Taj, and LeLee – also known as the Sisters With Voices – are set to premiere their reality show, SWV (Sisters With Voices) in January 2014! The show, which can be caught on WEtv, will follow the women on their road to revival after their dramatic breakup in the late 1990′s.

During the season, fans can expect to see the women in their area of expertise doing performances in various locations. Addressing and administering aid to old wounds as well as facing their new challenges, the show is sure to be a rollercoaster ride of excitement.

Fantasia, Raheem DeVaughn & SWV Perform at ‘Stone Soul Music & Food Festival’

This past weekend the annual ‘Stone Soul Music & Food Festival’ went down in Richmond, Virginia. Some of R&B’s hottest acts took the stage to entertain the sold-out crowd, including Fantasia, Raheem DeVaughn and SWV.

Tasia took it back to the 80s during her headlining set. Raheem catered to the screaming female fans as he jumped off stage and over the barricades to perform live from the audience. The ladies of SWV tore it down, belting out hit after hit from their classic catalog.
