SNL confesses an undying love with her cover of 702′s “I Still Love You,” which was produced by The Neptunes.

Shanell keeps the throwback love going with her latest remake/cover. This time the Young Money singer/songwriter takes on the classic party jam “I Wanna Sex You Up” by Color Me Badd. As most of the previous releases in ‘Throwback Thursdays’ series have been female records, its interesting to hear her take on this joint.

Shanell is back with her ‘ThrowbackThursdays’ series releasing her latest cover/remake. The singer/songwriter takes it back to 2004 with Mario Winans heartfelt single, “I Don’t Wanna Know.” SNL lays down some raw truth about her promiscuous partner over the haunting, break-beat track, which features a sample of Enya’s “Boadicea.”

YMCMB’s Shanell continues her new ‘Throwback Thursdays’ series with her latest cover/remake. The singer/songwriter takes it back to one of the biggest ’90s classics with Jade’s “Don’t Walk Away.”

Shanell received a huge response from fans with her recent covers of Teedra Moses’ “Be Your Girl” and Adina Howard’s “T-Shirt and Panties” and was inspired to officially launch the music series after requests for more covers from fans. “The 90’s was an awesome era for R&B music, so what better way to pay homage than with a fun series” says Shanell. The Young Money singer/songwriter/choreographer will record covers for the limited time while in the studio putting finishing touches on her debut album which is scheduled for release later this year.

Shanell takes it back to 2004 with a cover of Teedra Moses’ “Be Your Girl,” which she admits is one of her favorite songs (great choice). The Young Money songstress sings about a special guy who makes her heart sing.
