Ingrid-Sevyn

Beyoncé is prepping her own surprise album release, along with her world tour, and brand new apparel line Ivy Park. So, why not do more right?

The superstar is continuing to build her company Parkwood Entertainment with a roster of exciting new artists, including the up-and-coming Texas native Ingrid.

Making her official premiere with the new single and video “Flex” featuring Sevyn Streeter, we take a trip through her Houston neighborhood in the Kevin Calero-directed visual.

“Reporting live from the Third Ward,” the Parkwood MC beams with hometown pride on the melodic track. “Never been nowhere before, water park was a firehose, D boys posted at the corner / All n*gros, amigos, Zo’s and the Rastas / We got goals we want more, dreams of designer / Street n**ga mentality, got to get it by any means,” sings Sevyn.

New Music: Sevyn Streeter – Don’t (Remix)

Sevyn Dont

She’s back and she’s better…

Sevyn Streeter continues to bless us with her take on some of the year’s hottest tracks. Following “Say It” and “Drama,” of course the R&B singer/songwriter had to jump on Bryson Tiller’s “Don’t.”

Making her case for why she should be the one under a certain man’s arm Sevyn states her campaign.

“Boy, you say she spend up everything / She keep begging for a ring, don’t bring nothing to the table / What a shame / If you were mine it would not be the same / I’d put the car and the house in my name,” she sings.

New Music: Sevyn Streeter – Drama (Roy Wood$ / Drake Remix)

Sevyn Streeter_103962-300 (1)

As Sevyn Streeter is still finding herself on a high from her latest EP, Shoulda Been There, the singer-songwriter has been busy giving some of our favorite tracks the Street treatment. Following her standout cover of Tory Lanez “Say It,” she now takes on OVO’s own Roy Wood$ collaboration with Drake titled “Drama.”

Revamping the words to tell the story of a girls night out, Sevyn delivers a recap of a time that most women can understand.

Singing out, “Every girl that I know has been in this position / Every girl that I know, know exactly how that sh*t be goin’ / That one friend every time you out, that be always fightin’ with her n*gga / He might as well came to the club, ’cause you feel like he already with us,” Sevyn reminds us that she’s definitely not here for anyone to kill the mood because she’s just tryna get loose.
