Robin Thicke Reveals “Blurred Lines” Album Cover & Tracklisting

Robin Thicke is sitting pretty on top of the Hot 100 with his smash song, “Blurred Lines” featuring Pharrell & T.I.. The funky, fun-filled single is also the title track of his forthcoming sixth studio album, which is slated to hit stores on July 30.

The R&B lothario has now unveiled the album cover, and official tracklisting for the standard edition. The 11-track project boasts only one other feature, which is Kendrick Lamar on “Give It To U,” which previously leaked with a verse from 2 Chainz as well. The LP also boasts production from Timbaland, Will.I.Am, Dr. Luke and Robin himself along with his longtime collaborator Pro-J.

The albums second single, “4 The Rest of My Life” is a touching love ballad that Robin penned in dedication to his wife Paula Patton.

Robin Thicke & Pharrell Remake “Blurred Lines” Video for ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Robin Thicke is celebrating his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Blurred Lines,” his hot collaboration with Pharrell & T.I..  The soulful singer  provided a special performance of the funky single on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Thursday night, with footage from the Myspace launch event the prior night. Thicke and Pharrell were joined on stage by  Miley Cyrus and Leah LaBelle who danced along during the lively set.

As a parody of the hit NSFW music video, Jimmy showed his own version, which did not make the final cut.  In the “unedited” clip, the talk show host and his sidekick Guillermo crash the set, dancing alongside the models in matching outfits just like Thicke and Pharrell’s. Pharrell eventually breaks a chair over Kimmel’s head, while Guillermo gets down in his metallic suit.

“I think Guillermo wore it better @jimmykimmel,” joked Pharrell.

Robin Thicke Visits Hot 97 Morning Show

Robin Thicke returned to the States for continued promotion of his smash single “Blurred Lines.” The R&B lothario paid another visit to Hot 97, but this time to the morning show with Cipha Sounds, Peter Rosenberg and K. Foxx.

Thicke speaks on similar topics as most of his recent interviews, including the sexy music video with topless models, finding so much success at the same time as Justin Timberlake, working with Kevin Hart on ‘The Real Husbands of Hollywood,’ his upcoming album and much more.

Robin confirmed the official album release date is July 30.

Robin Thicke has been on a overseas trip in promotion of his hit single “Blurred Lines.” The record has become a hit in the U.S., and it’s even bigger in Europe. The song has become the fastest selling single of the year in the UK, shifting 190k copies in it’s first week.

While in London, the R&B lothario was joined by his friend and label boss Pharrell to perform the funky collaboration on “The Graham Norton Show” on Friday. The audience clapped along as Skateboard P pulled actress Hayden Panettiere on stage to dance with them.

Robin Thicke Announces ‘Blurred Lines’ Album Release Date

Robin Thicke‘s new single “Blurred Lines” has been crushing the charts lately, currently No. 1 on the Billboard R&B Songs chart, No. 2 on the Hot Hip-Hop & R&B, and No. 6 on the Hot 100. The funky tune which features Pharrell and T.I., is the lead single and title track of his forthcoming sixth studio album.

While on a promo visit to the UK, the R&B lothario swung by Kiss FM for a chat about the song, the much-talked about erotic music video, and the upcoming album. Robin revealed to the hosts that the new LP is due out July 8, and it boasts production from Timbaland, Will.I.Am, Dr. Luke and himself.

In addition, Robin shared his dislike for American Idol, but said he thinks Alicia Keys would be a great judge/mentor. And he played a game of ‘blurred lines’ where he had to guess the song and sing the rest. Watch the humorous interview below:

Following their hot performance on “The Voice,” Robin Thicke and Pharrell paid a visit to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday to perform “Blurred Lines.” While T.I. didn’t make the trip, the soulful singer and platinum hitmaker delivered the title track off Thicke’s upcoming album as the crowd clapped and two-stepped along. The fellas hit the aisles to dance along with the studio audience, before talking briefly with Ellen about working together.

After their appearance on “The Voice,” the song shot to No. 1 on iTunes and is currently No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100. Robin’s album Blurred Lines is due this summer, while a new single “4 the Rest of My Life” is scheduled to hit iTunes on May 28.
