John Legend is surrounded by beauty and lavish opulence in the grandiose music video for his latest single, “Who Do We Think We Are” featuring Rick Ross. The R&B crooner lives the high life, throwing a glamorous party in a magnificent mansion. He mixes with models who are dressed up in luxurious evening wear, and dressed down in revealing bedroom lingerie.

Rick Ross keeps it simple in a black leather jacket and gold chain as he lays his smooth verse over the soulful track, while John has a private moment with his date.

The Bink! produced record is the first single off Legend’s upcoming fourth studio album Love In The Future, which is due out June 25, executive produced by Kanye West and Dave Tozer. The Great Gatsby style visual comes in two versions, original and explicit (and it’s not for curses).

John-Legend-Rick-Ross-video-shoot

John Legend released the head-bobbing, soulful single “Who Do We Think We Are” featuring Rick Ross on Monday, and the official music video is already on the way. The duo recently shot the visual for the first release off Legend’s forthcoming album Love In The Future, and they invited VIBE TV to the set of the video shoot.

The two spoke about how the song came about, “Kanye brought me the track and it was actually [produced] by Bink, and when I heard it I just wanted to write something for it,” explained Legend. “After I had written my part of the song, I felt like if anything Rozay should be on this album, this is it. It just naturally fit his voice, his style, his whole persona. I’ve been on so many of his records and mixtapes, but he actually never been on one of mine, and it’s great to finally have him on my album.”

Continuing about the final production John shared, “We started with the original beat by Bink, then we added some strings, we added the ‘Mr. Big Stuff’ sample later in the process, so all that made it a masterpiece after all that time. It’s one of the first songs that I wrote that made me feel like ‘Ok we’ve got an album started,’ so I think its a perfect song to start the album off with.”
