The Divas are back! TV One aired the premiere episode of ‘R&B Divas: Atlanta‘ Season 2 on Wednesday night. The original cast of Syleena Johnson, Faith Evans, Keke Wyatt, Monifah and Nicci Gilbert all return, along with two new ladies — Angie Stone and LaTocha Scott (of Xscape). This is expected to be a more dramatic season, so get ready for real big voices and real big emotions.

The second season of “R&B Divas” premiered on Wednesday night, and earlier in the day Syleena Johnson and new cast member LaTocha Scott visited “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show.” The R&B divas spoke about why so many girl groups just can’t make it work. Ricky asks is this the reason why we’ll be seeing fighting on the new season?

The R&B Divas are coming back! All 5 original cast members will soon be returning to your television screens with all-new episodes, and a couple fresh faces. The ladies of season one, Monifah, Keke, Syleena, Nicci and Faith Evans will be welcoming Angie Stone and former member of Xscape, LaTocha Scott to the show.
While rumors were floating around earlier in the year that the show would first return with a new cast based in Los Angeles, those looking forward to that will have to hold their breath, as the newly coined ‘R&B Divas: Atlanta’ will be returning to TV One on Wednesday May 1st at 10pm ET. With two more ladies added to the popular reality show, there will certainly be even more singing and business drama in store.

The original cast of ‘R&B Divas’ will be gracing your TV screens tonight, and in a fun preview for the special, Keke Wyatt shares her country roots, and has everyone laughing.
Keke is known for her outstanding vocal chops, but during the “R&B Divas Pre-Party,” she reveals her country inspirations and lets it be known she can tear up a country song if need be, even using her yodel voice. “You best believe it! It’s a part of me, so I’m gonna love what’s a part of me,” she told host Joe Clair about the possibility of a country album.
Tune in tonight, April 13 at 9pm ET/8pm C on TV One to see the rest of the one-hour special where the ladies will dish on their lives, music, and KeKe’s country ambitions.

TV One found success last year when their reality show “R&B Divas” caught on with a cult following. Rumors have been swirling about the next season, and the news has been confirmed. The network is moving forward with the show, but moving out west as the cast of “R&B Divas: L.A.” has been revealed. This was one of the few reality shows that shed a more positive light on African American woman and the music industry, let’s hope the show continues on the positive path.

TV One’s ‘R&B Divas’ recently ended their successful first season, and are now readying the next season with new additions to the cast. It has already been reported that Nicci Gilbert was axed from the show. Allegedly, Faith Evans has been asked not to return to the show either. As producers rearrange their cast it appears that Angie Stone and Sunshine Anderson will be the replacements…
After the success of reality show ‘R&B Divas‘ on TV One, it is being reported that Nicci Gilbert has been asked not to return to the cast. This comes as a surprise to many because Gilbert is one of the co-creators of the show. Allegedly, the production team has said through market research Gilbert was the least favorite of the cast. Gilbert was very expressive throughout the show that she no longer had a passion for singing and instead chose the avenue of being a clothing designer.
