Q Parker is turning up the heat on his stellar single, “YES.” The former member of 112, recruits LL Cool J to drop two verses and fellow R&B crooner Raheem DeVaughn to join in on the smooth joint. The remix was written by Q Parker, Elijah Blake, LL and Raheem with production by Dwayne “D’Town” Nesmith (formerly of Tha Corna Boyz).

Q Parker, formerly of 112, has released his debut solo album The MANual this week. With two solid singles in “Show You How,” and the buzzing “YES,” lifted off the project already, Q has been making a commendable imprint with his solo career. The album is an impressive piece of work, and a well executed and produced R&B LP, which should not be slept on.
One of the unique inclusions on the album is Q’s solo, acoustic remake of past 112 hit “Cupid.” A version with the uptempo beat was included on his ‘Qgasms’ mixtape from earlier this year, but the stripped down version has a very special feel to it. CentricTV has your first listen to the Grammy award-winning singer-songwriters LP, which boasts production from Ivan Barias, Kendrick Dean, Chuck Harmony, Warryn Campbell and more. It also includes features Faith Evans (“Two of Us”) and Styles P (“Better”) on the 15 track album.
Q Parker is showing his support for the health of women by releasing the new track, “I’ll Wear Pink For You,” written by himself and Crystal Nicole (Beyoncé, Rihanna), and produced by Marcus “Daheatmizer” Devine. The new song has also inspired a Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign by the same name. This initiative encourages men to wear an item in a hue of pink to symbolize support for women who have battled breast cancer, as well as to encourage women of all ages to do self-exams and get mammograms if they are in the medically recommended age-range. A portion of the proceeds from Q’s upcoming 2013 fitness calendar will be donated to support breast cancer and prostate cancer research.
