New Music: Ne-Yo – Coming With You + Religious

Only minutes after unveiling the album cover and tracklisting for his sixth studio album Non-Fiction, Ne-Yo has released two brand new songs off the project.

Most likely one of the few songs that will cater to his pop / dance audience, the new single “Coming With You” follows the current trend of ’90s house music. Over a groovy dance beat, Ne-Yo gets spellbound by a captivating woman, who he plans to follow wherever she goes, and let her go anywhere she wants.

“Girl what’s the business? / I’ma let you decide where it is we go / Show me the way you ball, so baby / Sexy to me the way you take control,” he sings.

Additionally, the R&B gentleman gets romantic as he sings his girl’s praises on the soulful “Religious,” which you can receive right now if you pre-order the album on iTunes.

“Throw up my hands, say thank you to the man / ‘Cuz just to touch you is a blessing,” he sings.

Ne-Yo’s anticipated new album drops January 27 featuring ScHoolboy Q, T.I., Jeezy, Juicy J, and more.

Ne-Yo Non-Fiction Album

Ne-Yo is finally ready to let his latest story be told. The R&B hitmaker has unveiled the album cover and official tracklisting for his anticipated sixth studio album Non-Fiction. Previously expected to be released this fall, the album will now hit stores on January 27.

Lead by the singles “Money Can’t Buy” featuring Jeezy and “She Knows” featuring Juicy J, the project is expected to be primarily R&B based, as Ne-Yo has stated in many interviews regarding the album that he wanted to return to his roots, and the LP is 99% R&B. That other 1% will certainly include his recent hit collabo with Pitbull “Time of Our Lives.”

Arriving in a 14 track standard edition, and 21 track deluxe version, the album also includes features from Schoolboy Q (“Run”), T.I. (“One More”), Charisse Mills (“Integrity”), and Candice (“She Said I’m Hood”).

Ne-Yo Releases Alternate Version of “She Knows” feat. Juicy J

Ne-Yo is back with round 2 of his sexy new club single “She Knows” featuring Juicy J.  While he released the music video for the song last month, the R&B hitmaker has now decided to share a new, alternative version of the single and video.

While the original included 1 verse from Juicy J in the middle of the song, the new version now includes 2 as the rap legend now opens the song as well.  The new video no longer features any of the comical scenes of the original storyline, which saw Ne-Yo discovering some very talented pole dancers in random locations, such as a dollar store, library and even in the park.

Instead the new version focuses heavily on the talented dancers, but in a darker, more club like setting with smoke machines and colored lights.

Ne-Yo Debuts New Song “Just Kiss Me” with New Artist Sonna Rele

Ne-Yo truly believes in the process of artist development, and as has been the case with up and coming singer Sonna Rele, who he signed to his company Compound Entertainment. The British native has been continuously building her fan base with weekly YouTube covers, while honing her craft and working on her debut album.

While she shares something new each Monday, today the singer has released video footage of her getting the chance to sing on stage with Ne-Yo at the famed Royal Albert Hall in London. Using the opportunity to introduce her to the hometown crowd, Ne-Yo and Sonna gave the audience a first listen to their upcoming duet entitled “Just Kiss Me,” which is intended for her album.

A well done duet and stage performance from the duo, leaving plenty of potential for Sonna.

New Music: Candice – Lesbian + Sampler

Candice Lesbian

Last year we were impressed by a new emerging singer/songwriter named Candice, aka Candi Kush, who Ne-Yo had signed to his Compound Entertainment imprint.  While we haven’t heard much since the release of her debut mixtape ‘Live From the Smokers Room,’ the R&B songstress has now returned with a brand new single, and 4 track sampler.

The single will certainly cause some to precede with caution just off the title, “Lesbian,” however it’s the perfect example that you can’t judge a book by it’s cover. Candice finds her man getting so obsessed with the number of previous lovers she’s had that she think he’s acting more like a “girl” than her. She bluntly shares the feelings that many go through when this topic comes up over the smooth track.

“I don’t want to lie to you, but you be asking me, things that if I answer with honestly, I’m gonna look over at you and suddenly there’ll be a vagina where your balls should be,” she sings. Continuing: “It’s like you get a kick out of asking me sh*t that’s gonna give you an excuse to act like a bitch, and I ain’t tryin to call you one, but if we keep this up than we gonna call it one.”

In addition to the new single, Candice gives us a taste of 4 stellar new songs, which will most likely be released on her upcoming project.

Ne-Yo Plays ‘Eff, Marry, Curve,’ Shares Threesome Rules on Power 106

Ne-Yo landed in the hot seat during a visit to Power 106 this week, while in L.A. for his “One Night with Ne-Yo” Tour.
