Melanie Fiona keeps the summer vibes going into fall with the music video for her single “Cold Piece.” Teaming up with Pepsi Pulse to produce the visuals, the Brooklyn resident rides around the city with some girlfriends in an ice cream truck.

She rides by some of her male artist friends including Luke James, Mateo, Jared Cotter and Ro James before stopping to hand out ice cream and Pepsi cups as folks dance in the street.

Seated on a couch in an indoor scene the R&B songstress complains to her man about his unbelievable cold-heartedness.

“This is the coolest, coolest video I’ve ever shot,” said Melanie. “I’m so appreciative of being in this place in my career as an artist for my fans.”

Behind The Scenes: Melanie Fiona Shoots “Cold Piece” Video

It’s about time, but Melanie Fiona is finally getting ready to release the music video for her hot song, “Cold Piece.”

The R&B songstress brought Pepsi on-set to film the official behind-the-scenes of the video shoot in Brooklyn. In the visual, Mel parties in an ice cream truck with her girls and meets up with friends including fellow artists Luke James, Ro James and Mateo, who joined her on location.

Take a sneak peek at the upcoming visual with the footage below, and stay tuned for the full video to premiere on October 15.

After the event, Melanie held an intimate jam session.

New Music: Glenn Lewis feat. Melanie Fiona – ‘All My Love’ (Official Release)

Glenn Lewis has finally made his official return with the sweet love ballad “Can’t Say Love,” off his forthcoming album Moment of Truth.  The Canadian crooner is looking to rekindle the attention of R&B fans across the globe with the Corey Latif Williams written cut, which is going for radio adds now, and has a Juwan Lee-directed video on the way.

In addition to the soulful single, Glenn has collaborated with his fellow Canadian singer, the beautiful and talented Melanie Fiona. Over an island inspired funky track, produced by Dre & Vidal, the two crooners plead their desires to be the special someone in each others lives on the sweet duet, “All My Love.”

Lewis’ forthcoming sophomore album Moment of Truth is due out October 15 via Ruffhouse/Capitol.

Melanie Fiona Covers Chris Brown’s “Fine China,” Talks “Cold Piece” Single

Melanie Fiona released her latest single “Cold Piece” to rave reviews back in June. As the Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter continues work on her anticipated third studio album she sat down for a chilly interview with Page 31 during a photo shoot at the newly opened Minus 5 Ice Bar in Manhattan.

Along with talking about the creation of “Cold Piece,” and her career to date, Mel took part in Page 31’s karaoke series, delivering an impromptu performance of Chris Brown’s “Fina China” on the spot.

After some technical difficulties, Melanie pulls out an impressive rendition of the hit single.  Check out both clips below!

14th Annual Art For Life Gala: A Field Of Dreams

Russell Simmons held his 14th Annual ‘Art for Life Gala: A Field of Dreams’ this Saturday in the Hamptons. Moguls, actors, musicians, and philanthropists rubbed shoulders at the fundraiser dedicated to establishing art programs for inner-city youth.

Tyler Perry, Anne Pasternak, Walter Mosley, Sam Englebardt, and William D. Johnson were among the honorees, while Rick Ross, Maxwell, Estelle and Doug E. Fresh entertained the crowd.

The star-studded event, which took place at the picturesque Fairview Farms in Bridgehampton and raised over $1.5 million to help develop inner city art programs, was co-hosted by Soledad O’Brien and attended by a list of celebs — including Anthony Anderson, Melanie Fiona, Al Sharpton, Tichina Arnold, Star Jones, Angela Simmons, Michael Strahan and his fiance Nicole Murphy.

Oh lawd, this beat knocks. Following the sneak peek, Melanie Fiona liberates her raw new single “Cold Piece,” and boy are we pleased.

Mel lets the emotions flow from a rough breakup on the funky Alan Nglish-produced cut, which is the first taste of her forthcoming third studio album.

“I never dreamed you’d leave/ Oh how so very silly of me/ I just can’t believe how someone could be such a cold piece of work at heart,” sings the Canadian songstress.

Toronto came together when Glenn Lewis and Melanie Fiona connected to record their hot new duet, “All My Love,” which lives on Lewis’ forthcoming album ‘Moment of Truth,’ due out August 28.

Glenn and Mel reunited at Chung King Studios in New York City to record the Dre & Vidal produced jam, which finds the two singers pleading their desires to be the special someone in each others lives on the sweet, island inspired jam.
