This past Monday marked a year since the death of the late and great Whitney Houston. Grammy-award winning songstress Melanie Fiona, who has said countless times how impactful Whitney was as a singer to her, covered the legends hit song “One Moment In Time” for Billboard’s tribute series.

“I feel like it is one of the greatest songs that she has and that has kind of ever been written,” said Melanie. “It’s almost like the forgotten gem of her catalog. …And I feel like this record is just so powerful and has such a positive message. I think that people need to hear that and be reminded of that.”

So this went down yesterday, but missed posting it. Melanie Fiona made a special visit to the ‘Today’ show to assist Michael Bolton in a performance of the 1968 classic “Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing,” which was originally sung by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, and written by the legendary Ashford & Simpson. Bolton will be releasing a new covers album entitled ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” which is a tribute to the many hits of Motown. Check out their rendition now!
