Indie R&B artist Your Jodi is back with the music video for his latest single “Damn U Jenny.”

Coming off his ‘Leave A Message‘ EP from earlier this spring, the singer/songwriter gets fans ready for his official debut album 69 Shades of Jodi, with the love triangle themed visual.

Jodi wants Jenny but Jenny is tore between two men, when things aren’t going well with her man at home she uses Jodi to cover up the pain, but she can’t seem to commit to either man.

“Maybe it’s a bit much, I just can’t get enough / Over the top love, guess I’m just trippin’ off ya,” sings Jodi who wants more from their affair.

Indie: Your Jodi Releases New EP ‘Leave A Message’

Indie artist Your Jodi, formally known as Jodi, has returned with a gift to keep his fans covered while he continues working on his full length album.

The R&B singer/songwriter delivers the mini EP ‘Leave a Message,’ hosted by DJ HB Smooth. The project includes previously released tracks including “Selfish,” and opens with Your Jodi’s popular response to Adele’s “Hello.”

While he continues putting the finishing touches on his album, 69 Shades of Jodi, which is coming soon, fans can get ready for the album with the EP, and videos below.

Indie: Jodi Releases “Hey There Lova” Video

Indie R&B artist Jodi, aka YourJodiBaby, has big plans for 2016, as he preps for the release of his new album 69Shades of Jodi. Explaining the title, Jodi says, “69 is balance and the shades represents the many lifestyles I live.”

Following his fall campaign, which saw the release of the singles “Selfish” and “Hey There Lova,” the Kansas City, MO native kicks off the new year with the premiere of the short film style music video for the later.

Opening in a club, Jodi spots his new love interest through the neon lights. Over the pulsating beat he sings out to her, courting the cutie to the dance floor. Flashbacks to a chance meeting in a record shop lead to a passionate, intimate moment in the sheets.

“Hey there lova, you mind if I get close to you? / I just want to dance real slow, move real close,” he sings.

Indie: Jodi Releases Response To Adele’s “Hello”

Indie R&B artist Jodi takes a break from sharing new tracks off his forthcoming project, 69 Shades of Jodi, to jump on the Adele hype, releasing a video response to her massive single “Hello”.

The Kansas City, MO native sits in a park using a vintage telephone as he sings out to a ex lover about good times lost.

“Hello, you don’t hear me / You left for California, while I stayed in Kansas City / It didn’t work, now you miss me,” he sings.

In addition to the video cover, Jodi has released the fifth installment of the vlog series for his upcoming album, where he talks about renaming the project and what else listeners can expect.

Following this fall’s “Selfish,” indie R&B artist Jodi releases the new song “Hey There Lova,” produced by Anthony Saunders.

The track is the second release off his forthcoming album, which he recently renamed to ‘69Shades of Jodi.’ “I decided to change the name of the album due to how my life been battling personal and professional issues. 69 is balance and the shades represents the many lifestyles I live,” he says.

Over the pulsating beat, Jodi calls out to a girl that has caught his eye in the club, courting her to the dance floor for a passionate moment of chivalry.

“Hey there lova, you mind if I get close to you? / I just want to dance real slow, move real close,” he sings.

Originally titled Tongues, Jodi has changed the name to ‘69Shades of Jodi.’  “I decided to change the name of the album due to how my life been battling personal and professional issues. 69 is balance and the shades represents the many lifestyles I live,” he says.

The singles commanding piano driven track finds the singer/songwriter struggling with the tough reality of loving a woman that he isn’t good enough for, but hoping she can be the one to help him change.

“It gets harder every time, I’m steady thinking of ways to get by / Though it’s possible for me to change, the greed in me remains the same,” he sings.

“It gets harder every time, I’m steady thinking of ways to get by / Though it’s possible for me to change, the greed in me remains the same,” he sings.

Tongues is due out this winter, and follows Jodi’s breakout 2013 mixtape A Good Kind of Dangerous.
