Jarvis, although a new artist to some, has had a decade long career in music. Signing his first deal at 15 with So So Def, then moving on to Ludacris’ DTP, and now finding his new home at Capitol Records. His single “Make A Little Room,” which was first released on his comeback mixtape Heartache, has been climbing the R&B charts, and once again brought the R&B singer into relevance. Jarvis recently spoke with Singersroom for an interview about career struggles, staying involved and inspired in music, being creative, and bringing passion and storytelling back with his upcoming album.

R&B singer Jarvis has been featured as HipHollywood’s ‘Artist of the Month.’ With the success of his latest single “Make A Little Room” continuing to build, he spoke about the single, and upcoming album ‘Cardiology.’
“We spun it off heartache, basically ‘Cardiology’ is all the different stages of the heart,” he explained. “We want to make passionate music, music about love, music that you need, music that you need to feel, that you need to live.”
Jarvis is no newcomer though, from his early days on So So Def, he also spoke about touring with his idol, Usher, and learning from the superstar.

R&B singer Jarvis premieres a brand-new music video for his buzzing single, “Make A Little Room.” The 23-year old is hoping to start over as he opens up his heart and his home to a lost lover in the Jon Augustavo-directed visual, which was shot in L.A.. Jarvis is currently working on his debut album Cardiology, due out later this year via Capitol Records. The song was originally off the Oklahoma natives 2012 mixtape “Heartache,” that first spawned this viral video.

R&B singer Jarvis has been in and around the music industry for close to a decade now. Having signed his first deal at 15 with So So Def, touring the world with Usher and releasing a mildly successful single, he switched labels to Ludacris’ Disturbing Tha Peace. After both situations left Jarvis in a place he wasn’t fulfilled in, he began the independent route, and in 2012 signed a new deal with Capitol Records. With his latest single “Make A Little Room” starting to bubble at radio, the crooner has released a brand new EPK visual.
