Where has elusive R&B singer, J. Holiday been? The underrated DC bred crooner spoke with Kempire Radio this past weekend and he explained the reason for his long break from music, label troubles, where he wants to take his music & more. J even sang a medley of his hits.

Holiday is one of those artists that I swear every couple weeks someone asks “where is that guy?” We still wonder why he hasn’t been able to capture and sustain more attention, but we know he is working at least, and this new joint continues to show he deserves that attention. The DC crooner has just released a new tune titled “Sign My Name.” J, we need more ish like this!

Welp! Finally. J. Holiday aka Cadillac J is gearing up for his return with a new project and he has liberated the first release. Collaborating with Wale’s artist Black Cobain for “More Than A Love Song,” produced by MilknSizz and Anomoly. A remake of “Little Ghetto Boy,” this joint goes… some smooth ish, reminding you how dope the DC native is. Take a listen below…

The DC crooner has been jumping around label situations and trying to regain the buzz he had with his first album, and hit single “Bed” for some time. With a new deal on Island/Def Jam, and reconciled relationship with The-Dream he is poised to get back to where he belongs. After a strong fan request, and much needed promo the soulful songster drops his anticipated mixtape “M.I.A. (The Lost Pages)”.
