Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Ciara & More Perform at DJ Prostyle’s Birthday Bash in NYC (Photos & Video)

It was a PARTY! in NYC on Tuesday as DJ Prostyle held his 2nd annual Birthday Bash, presented by Power 105.1, at Hammerstein Ballroom. The sold-out show was a full-fledged concert, including some of today’s biggest Hip-Hop & R&B stars.

Prostyle called on friends Chris Brown, Fabolous, Ne-Yo, Future, Ciara, Wale, Sevyn Streeter, Fat Joe and Ravaughn to hit the stage to celebrate his b-day. Breezy had the ladies screaming as he ripped off his shirt to perform “Strip,” and fan favorites such as “Deuces,” “She Ain’t You,” “Another Round” w/Fat Joe and his new hit “Ready” with Fabolous. Before leaving the stage Brown shared his love for the city as he shouted out, “Hey New York, I muthaf**kin love you!!”

Newcomer Ravaughn is back with a brand new cut titled “I’m So F**ked Up” featuring Fabolous. The Compound U/Columbia Records singer never mentioned a feature from Fab on her upcoming album, so not sure if this will be making the cut, or if it is just a buzz leak. The L.A. native, who is Ne-Yo’s protégé, is prepping for the release of her debut, ‘Love Always,’ which is expected to hit stores this summer.

Video: The-Dream feat. Fabolous – “Slow It Down”

The-Dream slows down and takes you back in time with the brand new music video for his latest single “Slow It Down” featuring Fabolous. The platinum hitmaker and the NY MC attend a retro party, 50′s style, as they slow dance with their ladies, and stress the need for the DJ’s to get back to some heartfelt tunes.

Dream confronts some racial tension, as he heads to the parking lot to drag race with a muscle-bound actor. As the video ends before the race starts, the text “I thought music was to be the only place where color didn’t matter, I was wrong,” comes across the screen.

The melodic track is the first single off Dream’s upcoming fourth album IV Play, which is due out May 28. Peep the video below:

The two hitmakers recently shot the music video for “Ready” on the shores of Malibu, and MTV was on-set to capture some official behind-the-scenes and an early look at the upcoming visual. Fabolous is working toward his next album Loso’s Way 2, and Chris is prepping for his own comeback.

After his departure from the Grammy’s this past weekend, The-Dream made it indefinitely known that we WILL be receiving a full-length album from him very, very soon. The multi-talented hitmaker, who has been known for penning some of the most notable songs of the last 5-6 years, plans to release his fourth album Fourplay on May 7th.

Teasing us with the artwork to his first official single, “Slow It Down,” earlier today, we weren’t sure what to expect from the musical mastermind. The track, which features Fabolous, isn’t as slow as we pictured it, but nevertheless, it sounds distinctly Dream. Check the track out below and tell what you think?
