Eric Benét Presents: Music Meets Style

Eric Benét is known for his tender, sultry vocal and signature songs, but he has also been known to be a fashionable artist over the years. In a day and age when most men don’t dress like the refined gentlemen of our past, Eric recently paid a visit to mens clothing and lifestyle shop The Brooklyn Circus in Brooklyn, NY, and shared in a candid conversation about his music, new album ‘The One‘ and classic mens style.

As he tried on some new attire, Eric also delivered a sweet, acoustic performance of his latest single “News For You.” Peep the clip above.

Eric Benet‘s latest single “News For You” has been peaking in the top 5 of the Urban AC charts, so to give it an added boast the R&B vet has recruited 2 Chainz to drop a verse for the official remix. An unlikely pairing, but EB also did a cut with Lil’ Wayne recently, so he knows who to hit up when he’s looking for the right rap feature. The original version of the jazzy single can be heard on Eric’s stellar album The One, in stores now.

Eric Benét Releases “News For You” Lyric Video

Just in time for Valentines Day, Eric Benét unveils a lyric video for his smooth new single “News For You.” Very simple, but at least it will do until he releases an official video. Black Girls Rock! 2012 Performances

BET returned with their accredited “Black Girls Rock!” award show and concert on Sunday night. The birthchild of Beverly Bond which highlights and honors African American woman in entertainment, business and community. This years event, taped on October 13, was held at New York City’s Loews Paradise Theatre, and was hosted by Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King. The nights entertainment included performances from many of R&B’s leading ladies, Alicia Keys, Brandy, Keyshia Cole, Ciara with Missy Elliot, SWV, India Arie and even some fellas this year, Eric Benet, Anthony Hamilton and newcomer Luke James.
