fans hearts, by releasing another new/unreleased tune. The singer/songwriter builds an “Army” on her latest record, produced by Kev The Writer.

The singer/songwriter takes it to the bedroom as she shares her provocative plans on “Movie,” written by The Sass and produced by Anonymous. Dawn Richard continues to supply her growing fan base with more music. As she is busy promoting her official debut album Goldenheart, Dawn has liberated another unreleased cut titled “Love Me,” for her #MusicMonday series.
In addition Dawn has collaborated with Eve for the official remix to her song “Northern Lights,” produced by Druski, which is off Goldenheart.

Dawn Richard shows her appreciation to her fans by dropping more unreleased material from her Goldenheart recording sessions, with the flirty “Bum Bum.” The upbeat record, produced and written with frequent collaborator Druski, plays off Dawn’s Haitian and New Orleans roots, sampling the New Orleans song “Iko Iko” and referencing Sister Nancy’s reggae hit “Bam Bam.” Take a listen below:
Grammy week is in full swing, and the stars were out Wednesday night. Essence Magazine held their 4th annual ‘Black Women In Music’ event at Greystone Manor Supperclub in West Hollywood. The party honored Solange Knowles and rising British songbird Lianne La Havas as “Breakthrough Artist.”
Many of R&B’s leading ladies and some newcomers were in attendance including Tamia, Jill Scott, Estelle, Kelis, Dawn Richard, Leah LaBelle, and Bridget Kelly. Solange performed some new material off her acclaimed EP ‘True,’ and was joined onstage by her collaborator Devonté “Dev” Hynes and Earth Wind & Fire’s Verdine White.
