DJ Carisma and Abby De La Rosa were joined in TheMixShow studio by up and coming R&B artist Kris Stephens.  The singer/songwriter who is currently known for her hook on the T.I., B.o.B., Kendrick Lamar collaboration “Memories Back Then,” is signed to both R&B vet Tank, and T.I.’s Grand Hustle imprint.  Kris spoke about her journey into music, current and upcoming projects and much more.

The ladies were back on Monday night for a new episode of “The Cookie Jar.” DJ Carisma and Abby De La Rosa returned with an all new music show, and there has been plenty of that. No interview this week, just the latest in R&B mixed live, with some sprinkles of classics thrown in the one-hour show.

Yesterday, marked the release of Eric Bellinger‘s brand new mixtape ‘Born II Sing Vol. III.’ In celebration of the release the singer/songwriter paid a visit to DJ Carisma’s “Cookie Jar” as the special guest, and for a very special takeover version of the show. Not only did they play new tracks off Eric’s tape, and records he’s written for other R&B stars, but he also spoke candidly about the new project, his career, writing for others and more.

Tank Visits DJ Carisma’s “Cookie Jar”, Talks R&B

Earlier this year, Tank was a special guest on DJ Carisma’s “Cookie Jar,” and we finally have the official footage for you. During their chat the R&B veteran spoke at length about his career and music; in this clip watch Tank discuss the current state of R&B, and who he feels is doing their thing to keep the genre hot and progressing. This was also the moment that Tank first premiered TGT’s hot new single “Sex Never Felt Better.”

The ex-boy band singer/songwriter recently released his well-received sophomore EP, ‘Fashionably Late Vol. II,’ he spoke about the new project, his journey from Pop to R&B, having a church background and more.
