During her “Set The World On Fire” tour stop at the Staples Center on Tuesday night, Alicia Keys surprised her L.A. fans by bringing out Kendrick Lamar. The R&B superstar began singing the Janet Jackson-sampled hook from Kendrick’s hit single “Poetic Justice” before the Compton rapper hit the stage to perform the song.
In honor of her L.A. show, Alicia also debuted a video entitled “Illuminate Me” as part of her “Keep Moving Projects” with BlackBerry.
Yesterday, we showed you some pics that Maxwell was teasing that looked like they could be part of an upcoming video, and today, Alicia Keys reveals the single cover to “Fire We Make.” The sultry duet is off Keys album Girl On Fire, and it is actually Maxwell’s first duet ever. We have our fingers crossed that the crooner will be releasing his own new music soon, but in the meantime making this an official single with a video will be nice!

Earlier this year, Maxwell teased fans with a snippet of his new song “GODS” and an early look at the unfinished tracklisting for his upcoming album Summers’. Now, the Grammy winner is teasing us once again, with some pics that might be shots taken from an upcoming music video for “Fire We Make,” his sexy collaboration with Alicia Keys from her album Girl On Fire. Apparently, Alicia has been performing the song on her “Set The World On Fire” tour, and flashing some of the images on the big screen. We can only hope there is an official video coming soon, cuz that record is Fire!

Alicia Keys has hit the road on her “Set The World On Fire” Tour, with opening act Miguel. Last week she released a behind-the-scenes clip of her rehearsals and today she drops the second part. This video focuses on how Alicia practices her vocal techniques with vocal coach Ron Anderson.

Alicia Keys officially kicked off her ‘Set The World On Fire’ Tour yesterday in Seattle, Washington. The 24-city North American trek will travel across the U.S. and Canada before wrapping on April 18 in Chicago. Keys is joined by Grammy-winning R&B maverick Miguel.
