Ne-Yo is currently finishing up his short fan appreciation tour, and during his stop in Washington, DC, he paid a visit to 93.9 WKYS to talk to EZ Street about the show, his role and partnership with Malibu Red and new music.
The R&B hitmaker revealed that he and Trey Songz are now next door neighbors in L.A., and they have been speaking about collaborating on some new music together. He said it won’t be an album, but there could definitely be a few tracks coming in the near future. In addition, Chris Brown is just around the corner from them, and there might be even bigger plans in the making.
Ne-Yo spoke about plans for his next album, which he has just begun working on. We can expect him to focus mainly on R&B again, as he is excited about where the genre is going again and wants to do his part. He told the story of recording his upcoming duet with Celine Dion and more.

Fresh off the release of his first Gangsta Grillz mixtape, ‘The Product 2,’ hosted by DJ Drama, 20-year-old New Orleans native August Alsina is set to embark on his first national tour, serving as the opening act for The-Dream and Kelly Rowland on their “Lights Out Tour.” Alsina will hit 19 markets between May 29 and June 28, performing new music from ‘The Product 2,’ and his buzzing single “I Luv This Shit” featuring Trinidad Jame$.
Tank, Ginuwine & Tyrese stopped by Hot 97 Morning Show on Thursday morning. The three R&B vets who are working on their TGT project spoke to Ebro, Cipha and K Foxx about their upcoming collaboration, being single heartthrob artists, and staying true to R&B music.
Tank revealed that they just decided on the title of the album, which he coined as “3 Kings.” It is expected to arrive in stores in July 23 via Atlantic Records. They have already been hitting the road for some shows, but have a full 30+ city tour in the works.
